Excellent keyboard for the money
Coming from a SteelSeries Apex 7 and having tried quite a few keyboards, from membrane and budget gaming models to more expensive mainstream ones (Corsair k55, Razer Ornata, Razer Blackwidow, Logitech g413, HyperX, AJAZZ, Microsoft Sidewinder, etc.), I can say that Keychron has impressed me. I have also used the Keychron B6 at work, and my experience was equally positive.
The V6 Ultra 8K is very sturdy and well made, with an excellent typing feel. The Silk POM Red switches are linear, smooth, and highly responsive, while the keyboard is quite quiet for a mechanical one, with no click and a very nice, “contained” sound thanks in part to the acoustic foam layers inside. The 8,000 Hz polling rate, 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth, USB-C, hot-swap capability, programmable keys, and volume knob round out a very complete package for gaming and work.
The Keychron Launcher is also a plus, as it works through a browser instead of a separate application. It does require an internet connection to access, but it doesn't burden the computer with yet another program running in the background or launching with Windows.
The battery has been excellent so far. Weeks have passed on a single full charge, and I haven't needed to charge it yet.
On the downside: RGB lighting isn't its strong suit. The keycaps aren't shine-through, so the legends don't light up, while the off-white color of the switches makes the white RGB look slightly beige. Personally, it doesn't bother me much, as I'm not an RGB fan, but it's worth knowing before buying. Also, a wrist rest isn't included, but the Keychron R52 can be purchased separately for about €15. The packaging is also very thoughtfully put together and includes extra keycaps, a USB-C to USB-A adapter, a sleeved cable, a keycap/switch puller, and a small screwdriver.
Overall, so far it has checked almost all the boxes. For its price, it offers a truly premium experience and, even compared to the more expensive keyboard I've ever owned (SteelSeries Apex 7, €170), the difference in feel is truly night and day. The only things left to see are the after-sales support and how well it holds up over time.

Ερχόμενος από SteelSeries Apex 7 και έχοντας δοκιμάσει αρκετά πληκτρολόγια, από membrane και οικονομικά gaming μέχρι ακριβότερα mainstream μοντέλα (Corsair k55,Razer Ornata, Razer Blackwidow, logitech g413,hyperX,AJAZZ, Microsoft sidewinder κ.α ) μπορώ να πω ότι η Keychron με έχει εντυπωσιάσει. Έχω επίσης χρησιμοποιήσει το Keychron B6 στη δουλειά μου και η εμπειρία μου ήταν εξίσου θετική.
Το V6 Ultra 8K είναι πολύ στιβαρό και ποιοτικό, με εξαιρετική αίσθηση πληκτρολόγησης. Οι Silk POM Red είναι linear, ομαλοί και με πολύ καλή απόκριση, ενώ το πληκτρολόγιο είναι αρκετά αθόρυβο για μηχανικό, χωρίς click και με πολύ ωραίο, «μαζεμένο» ήχο χάρη και στα acoustic foam layers στο εσωτερικό. Τα 8.000 Hz, το 2.4 GHz wireless, το Bluetooth, το USB-C, το hot-swap ,τα προγραμματιζόμενα πλήκτρα και το volume knob συμπληρώνουν ένα πολύ πλήρες πακέτο για gaming και εργασία.
Θετικό και το Keychron Launcher, το οποίο λειτουργεί μέσω browser αντί για ξεχωριστή εφαρμογή. Χρειάζεται μεν, σύνδεση στο internet για την πρόσβαση, αλλά δεν φορτώνει τον υπολογιστή με ένα ακόμη πρόγραμμα που τρέχει στο background ή ξεκινάει μαζί με τα Windows.
Η μπαταρία μέχρι στιγμής είναι εξαιρετική. Με μία πλήρη φόρτιση έχουν περάσει εβδομάδες και δεν χρειάστηκε ακόμη να το φορτίσω.
Στα αρνητικά: ο RGB φωτισμός δεν είναι το δυνατό του σημείο. Τα keycaps δεν είναι shine-through, οπότε τα σύμβολα δεν φωτίζονται, ενώ το υπόλευκο χρώμα των switches κάνει το λευκό RGB να φαίνεται ελαφρώς μπεζ. Προσωπικά δεν με ενοχλεί ιδιαίτερα, καθώς δεν είμαι φαν του RGB, αλλά αξίζει να το γνωρίζει κάποιος πριν την αγορά. Επίσης, δεν περιλαμβάνεται wrist rest , αλλά μπορεί να αγοραστεί ξεχωριστά το keychron r52 στα ~15 ευρώ. (φαίνεται στην φωτογραφία)
Η συσκευασία είναι επίσης πολύ προσεγμένη και περιλαμβάνει extra keycaps, USB-C σε USB-A adapter, sleeved καλώδιο, keycap/switch puller και κατσαβιδάκι.
Συνολικά, μέχρι στιγμής έχει τικάρει σχεδόν όλα τα κουτάκια. Για την τιμή του προσφέρει πραγματικά premium εμπειρία και,ακόμα και σε σύγκριση με το ακριβότερο πληκτρολόγιο που είχα ποτέ (steelseries apex 7 170ευρω), η διαφορά στην αίσθηση είναι πραγματικά η μέρα με τη νύχτα. Το μόνο που απομένει να δω είναι το after-sales support καθώς και την αντοχή του στο χρόνο.
