Tree-like people, who try to remain standing throughout a lifetime of adverse weather.
Men who face insecurity, frustration, and loss. Women who experience loneliness and despair and others who chase utopia. Mothers who are overprotective and others who are awkward or withdrawn into themselves. Grandmothers who are tender and loving and others who are somewhat misunderstood. Sons and daughters who endure the consequences of parental behavior or who try to escape through understanding and forgiveness.
Nineteen short stories that span over thirty-something years, each written in a different style, language, and structure. With the comic or surreal element alternating with the dramatic and sometimes with emotion.
