    I have bought the Cumulus 26 already 2 or 3 times, which I loved. I consider the Cumulus 28 to be an upgrade, but we are not talking about a huge difference. They are very light and comfortable and fit the foot exactly like the 26s (I haven't tried the 27s)! The only thing I might consider a small drawback is that the weave at the top of the laces gets tangled with the tongue and needs a little untangling when you put them on. Anyway, the shoe is excellent, it is comfortable for walking and for light running! As for durability, time will tell! The 26s I had, after 1.5 years of heavy use, got tears, but that is completely logical; however, they are just as comfortable as at the beginning!

The Gel-Cumulus 28 is a lightweight running shoe designed to offer a smooth underfoot experience. The FF BLAST™ MAX foam is one of our most energetic cushioning technologies. This material is designed to help create cloud-like landings and quick toe-off response during running. A FLUIDRIDE™ outsole material is strategically placed to provide smooth transitions between steps. An AHAR® LO material is also placed in the heel area for added traction and durability in high-wear areas.

Details:

  • FF BLAST™ MAX shock absorption. One of the most energetic midsole foams, for cloud-like softness and instant energy return with every step.
  • PureGEL technology. A softer, updated version of GEL technology that maintains all the renowned properties that have made GEL technology famous. Approximately 65% softer compared to standard GEL technology.
  • Engineered mesh upper. A lightweight, breathable mesh material that reduces the need for additional overlays.
  • FLUIDRIDE outsole. The outsole material is blended with EVA and rubber to provide comfort and traction without sacrificing durability.

  • Reflective details for improved visibility at night and in the early morning.
  • OrthoLite X-30 sockliner for cushioning performance and moisture management for a cooler, drier environment.
  • AHAR LO lower-density rubber placed in key areas of the outsole for reliable traction and grip without sacrificing durability.
