The HPE P04533-B21 is an internal enterprise SSD with a capacity of 1.6TB, a SAS 12Gbps interface, and a Small Form Factor 2.5-inch design. It is a Mixed Use drive, optimized for balanced read and write workloads in demanding environments such as databases, virtualization, analytics, and OLTP applications.

The drive uses a Smart Carrier for easy installation and management in compatible HPE servers and includes digitally signed firmware for additional protection against unauthorized firmware modifications. It supports hot-plug functionality and delivers strong performance with:

  • Up to 109,000 random read IOPS
  • 105,000 random write IOPS
  • 1,075 MB/s sequential read
  • 1,030 MB/s sequential write

The drive height is 15 mm and its endurance is rated at 3 DWPD. It is compatible with HPE ProLiant Gen8, Gen9, Gen10, and Gen10+ server generations, depending on the server configuration.
