when we renovated the bathrooms in 2022, all the accessories I bought were sanco. everything was fine except for this one. this says stainless steel, right? Well, the upper part of the pump, when the liquid soap sometimes overflowed, would stay on the external "stainless steel" part. over time, with the presence of liquid soap, it didn't oxidize (it didn't rust, that is) but it was eaten away by the soap. so when I scrubbed it with my nail to remove the dried soap, I was also removing the nickel surface. in fact, when I did it a bit harder because I didn't realize, pieces came off. it's as if the cap had dried out so when I scrubbed it, bits would come off/as if it had crumbled a bit. so what exactly was stainless steel? and why did I pay 30-35 euros for it then?

Ε λοιπόν το άνω τμήμα της αντλίας, όταν το υγρό σαπούνι κάποιες φορές υπερχείλιζε, έμενε στο εξωτερικό "ανοξείδωτο" τμήμα. αυτό με την πάροδο του χρόνου και την παρουσία υγρού σαπουνιού, δεν οξειδωθηκε (δεν σκουριάσει δηλαδή) αλλά φαγώθηκε από το σαπούνι. οπότε όταν το έτριβαμα το νύχι για να φύγει το σαπούνι που είχε ξεραθεί, έβγαζα και την νίκελ επιφάνεια. μάλιστα όταν το έκανα λίγο πιο δυνατά καθώς δεν υπολόγισα, βγήκαν κομμάτια. σαν το καπάκι δηλαδή να είχε ξεραθεί οπότε με το τρίψιμο έβγαιναν κομματάκια/σαν να είχε λίγο θρυμματιστεί. οπότε τι ακριβώς ήταν ανοξείδωτο? και για ποιο λόγο πλήρωσα τότε 30-35 ευρώ?
