Amino acids are organic molecules that include an amino group (NH2) and a carboxyl group (COOH). These, joined by a peptide bond, form the primary structure of proteins. There are over one hundred amino acids, of which only twenty are considered proteinogenic amino acids, essential for the body's function. Nine of these are essential amino acids (EAA), which the body cannot synthesize and must be obtained through diet. EAAs participate in many metabolic, brain, physical, and immune processes.

Pronutrition has created a blend of plant-based EAAs without colorants and aspartame, perfectly balanced and water-soluble. It is recommended to possibly consume them in the morning on an empty stomach to optimize absorption, which occurs in two phases: the breakdown of the peptide bond in the stomach and the absorption in the small intestine.
