Description

The monsters of Greek mythology speak for themselves. Do not be afraid of them. Get to know them. The Sirens sing well. Everyone says so. Whoever hears their music loses their mind. They forget their home and loved ones and want nothing more in life than to listen to their song. The Mythological Tales series attempts a new "reading" of ancient Greek myths. They are not old, oft-told stories of forgotten gods, but exciting action tales through which all the timeless human adventures, fears, and joys that have marked and still mark the human soul unfold.

My name is Imeropi and I am a Siren. I have wings to fly and a desire to sing. The same goes for my sister, Thelksinoi. We live on a small island called Anthemoessa, on a beautiful meadow full of flowers. Whenever we are not flying, we sit on a rock by the sea and watch the ships pass by. We enjoy singing and playing the lyre and flute there.
