Serix 5 ml syringes are intended for subcutaneous injections and aspiration of fluids. They are sterilized with ethylene oxide (EO), for single use, and come with a detachable 22G needle. The connection is Luer Slip/Luer Lock type.

The barrel and plunger are made of polypropylene (PP), while the plunger has a two-stage rubber gasket that prevents solution backflow. The syringe is transparent, graduated in 1 ml increments, and features a plunger stop system that prevents the plunger from detaching. The needle is made of stainless steel with a PP plastic hub, and the syringe contains no latex or PVC.
