Unfortunately, only in recent years has the Greek public become aware of the existence of the issue of the occupation loan, and, as it turns out, so has the political personnel, who indeed seem to have been caught off guard.

Many still have the impression that when it comes to the occupation loan, it is merely a reasonable demand due to the terrible humanitarian and material destruction caused by the occupiers during the Occupation. But this is not the case. The occupation loan is a specific financial debt of the German state that remains unresolved, despite the fact that approximately seventy-five years have passed since then.

The main body of this book was published in 2012 as the second part of the book written by the author titled "The Greek Economy during the Occupation and the Truth about the Occupation Loans," and it was released by Eródios Publications. It has already gone through three editions and, in view of the fourth, it was deemed necessary to separate it, so that it would meet the more specialized interests of the reading public.
