This language guide aims to help us, in a simple, systematic, and inductive way, to become aware of and correct some basic mistakes that we often make in the oral and written use of Modern Greek.
Specifically:

- it highlights some crucial issues regarding the correct use of the genitive case, the excessive use of linguistic elements, as well as the unjustifiable omissions of expressive means
- it deals with the correct syntax and meanings of prepositional verbs, the declension and use of adjectives and adverbs, the meanings of participles, and the formation of compound verbs
- it clarifies the use of the final -n, the misuse of certain local adverbs, absolute participles, the use of the accusative and genitive subject, and other related topics
- it presents the linguistic elements that survive in Modern Greek, which remain useful and alive in the mouths of Greeks, while providing eloquent examples of their usage
