This book deals with a very timely and controversial topic for Pedagogy and Education, Collaborative Teaching and Learning. It is a theoretical study that aims to highlight the collaborative movement as a key component of innovation for the 21st century school. A movement that seeks to take the school out of the deadlock and impasse it is in, to create a new school culture, which is based on different principles and values necessary for the future citizen, establishing the school of tomorrow and not of yesterday. In this monograph, the conceptual determination of the most commonly used terms is attempted, the issue of transitioning from traditional to collaborative classroom is examined, a historical review of the movement is made, its necessity is documented, the main objectives are presented, the role of the educator is presented, as well as the dominant models of collaborative teaching and learning, the scientific perspectives and differentiations are developed, the benefits and finally the attitudes of educators towards the collaborative approach are discussed.
