Nikolaou is a product of the great school of rebetiko. He comes directly from the vein of Tsitsanis, Kaldaras, Papaioannou, Mitsakis, and Chiotis. He attempted and succeeded in refreshing the genre and creating hits that were sung and are still being sung today in all the venues in Greece.

Lefteris Papadopoulos. His songs have inventive melodies that strike immediately at our hearts. He collaborated with the great lyricists. He is well-known in every corner of the planet where Greeks reside. This was achieved only by Manolis Chiotis before him.

Hariss Alexiou. Record companies should erect a statue in his honor. Christos is undoubtedly the greatest popular composer of his generation.
