I have used it to cut walls, drywall, alpha blocks, and cement coating. Even without a diamond disc, it cuts very well. At some point (which is logical due to its size), the nut got stuck and I loosened it with a vise. Very powerful, it really has a soft start, it's not very handy both because of its size and weight, but for this kind of work that means sturdiness, which you want. Very good, I would obviously buy it again, great for its price, I have no experience with either cheaper or more expensive ones.

I bought a dexter 230mm and I was cutting cement and floors into dust. I cleaned it well but within a year the axle broke. The Makita is more powerful with the same characteristics but it lacks reliability for professionals. The cheaper ones are good for amateurs but this one is a beast to enjoy, the motor turns smoothly without vibrations, a characteristic of Makita cutters, smooth. Just heavy-duty, but I believe it is better in quality than Bosch, Dewalt which I have worked with, thanks, really. However, because it is heavy, in case of a kickback, it may not hit you as hard in the face.

Φοβερό εργαλείο... Βαρύ αλλά πολύ συμπαγής και φαίνεται πολύ γερή κατάσκευη. Γενικά έχω μεγάλη εμπειρία από makita και του έχω εμπιστοσύνη. Το είδα σε φίλο πριν το πάρω ο οποίος είναι επαγγελματίας και του έχει πιει το αίμα.
Δυνατό μοτέρ με soft start, παρόλο που δεν το γράφει στην περιγραφή του.
Με την θήκη του και δίσκο μέσα για κοπή δομικών υλικών.
Και πάνω από όλα φοβερή τιμή.
Για εμένα οποίος ψάχνει 230mm τροχό είναι μονόδρομος...
First time I buy Makita and I am satisfied! For its price, the tool is perfect! It has no vibrations, it doesn't get hot, it is very stable in cutting, it has a smooth start, something very important when cutting in difficult areas. The handle (in front of the disc) is a bit short and small in diameter, which I am thinking of changing. Overall, it is a very good and high-quality tool! I recommend it!
Πρωτη φορα που αγοραζω Μακιτα κ ειμαι ευχαριστημενος ! Γαι την τιμη του το εργαλειο ειναι τελειο! Δεν εχει κραδασμους, δεν ζεστενεται, ειναι πολυ σταθερος στο κοψιμο, εχει ομαλη εκκινηση κατι πολυ σημαντικο οταν κοβεις σε δυσκολα σημεια, η λαβη του(μπροστα στον δισκο) ειναι λιγο κοντη κ μικρη σε διαμετρο την οποια σκεφτομαι να αλαξω . Σε γενικες γραμμες ειναι πολυ καλο κ ποιοτικο εργαλειο! Το συνιστω!
I bought a dexter 230mm and I was cutting cement and floors into dust. I cleaned it well but within a year the axle broke. The Makita is more powerful with the same characteristics but it lacks reliability for professionals. The cheaper ones are good for amateurs but this one is a beast to enjoy, the motor turns smoothly without vibrations, a characteristic of Makita cutters, smooth. Just heavy-duty, but I believe it is better in quality than Bosch, Dewalt which I have worked with, thanks, really. However, because it is heavy, in case of a kickback, it may not hit you as hard in the face.
Πηρα εναν dexter 230mm εκοβα τσιμεντα και πατωματα μεσα σε σκονες.Τον καθαριζα καλα αλλα στον 1 χρονο εκοψε αξονα.Ο makita ειναι ποιο δυνατος με ιδια χαρακτηριστικα αλλα δεν μασαει αξιοπιστια για τον επαγγελματια.Τα πιο φθηνα για ερασιτεχνη καλα αλλα αυτο ειναι πολυ θηριο δουλεμα να το γουσταρεις το μοτερ γυριζει xωρις κραδασμους ομαλα το χαρακτηριστικο των κοπτικων σε makita,smooth.Απλα βαρυς αντρικος, αλλα πιστευω σε ποιοτητα καλυτερος απο Bosch ,Dewalt που τα δουλεψα τανκς πραγματικο.Επειδη ειναι βαρυς ομως στο τυχον kick back μπορει να μην σου ερθει τοσο δυνατα στα μουτρα.
