I do not have previous experience with SSDs, so I cannot be 100% objective. However, one thing is for sure, anyone who switches from an HDD to an SSD will be impressed with the speed. The computer opens in less than ten seconds! It takes about 2-3 seconds to copy a 1GB movie. Not to mention how quickly photos open!

After long-term use of an SSD from another company on various computers, I decided to get a Kingston one to install it on a mini PC. As soon as I opened the package, I was disappointed. There was no accompanying software. Unacceptable

I have it along with an i5-6400, 8GB RAM at 2133 from Hyper X Fury... close to a year... flawless simply! It combined halfway through the year with a 1050 2GB... and I also added a 1TB HDD... WITH CLOSED EYES

I installed it on a 2011 hp probook with an Intel i3 processor and 4GB of RAM. The machine runs smoothly and heats up slightly less than before. I can work on Photoshop without any issues, and overall, I am now keeping it instead of selling it. With 85 euros, I upgraded my sluggish probook, and I am considering upgrading my PC as well.

Fantastic SSD! Although I had a good system (with i7 4790k&gtx 780), it took it to the next level. Both in applications like Photoshop, After Effects, and in everyday tasks. As soon as the disk formatting was finished and I opened the PC (with no application running except Chrome), I ran CrystalDisk and it gave me 500read & 500write! In conclusion, I highly recommend it and it should be on your list if you plan to buy an SSD.
    - The only downside I can mention (so far) is the build quality, which is entirely made of plastic. Not that it's something dramatic, it's inside the case, but I have to mention it.

I have had a good Acer laptop (worth 1,000 euros) for two years now. The only component missing from this laptop was an SSD. Last August, I bought this specific one and now my little Acer flies.

    1) Many times, the startup used to take 1-2 minutes, plus 1 minute for startup programs. I have few startup programs, a clean desktop, and overall a well-maintained laptop. Now, I can open the programs I want in 5 seconds.

    2) File transfer is very fast. The design programs I use, as well as various games, open in no time.

    3) One negative aspect was that I had to buy a separate adapter to fit the 2.5" SSD into the 3.5" slot that my Acer has.

    4) Another negative aspect is that I couldn't migrate files from the old hard drive. I had to do a clean install of the operating system and software. A similar company has a very good migrating tool. However, for its price, Kingston is very good.

    5) I have had the hard drive for only 6 months, so I cannot comment on its performance over time.

Real transformation of the computer. If you want to upgrade your system, the first thing you should do is to buy an SSD. They are truly 10 times faster than the 7200rpm ones. I found it on offer at an excellent price. Fast program and multimedia startups. Windows loading at startup in 12 seconds. Very fast data reading and transfer. I don't have an opinion on durability over time as I recently purchased it.

  • The laptop has been transformed... Very fast, with low power consumption, essentially the laptop's battery lasts much longer.
It is completely silent and I noticed a difference in all functions, even in startup, where the time was reduced by about half.
It really is worth its money.

Very good disk for its price but it crashed (direct replacement from the store of purchase) after 4 months of operation without giving me any indication and without filling it up since I had it as a system disk of course. Maybe I got a defective piece, who knows!

    Good evening

I installed this disk almost 1 week ago, quite satisfied I can say about its features. Compared to a 3.5'' disk, it is much faster and noiseless since SSDs do not have mechanical moving parts. You will notice a difference depending on your requirements.
After 6 years of use, the disk is still working perfectly while the health measurement shows it is at 90% of its capacity. With a format per year, I bought two more pieces at a price of 26.00 per piece for backup purposes.
