This volume contains the proceedings of the 1st Conference on the History of Architecture held at the Athens School of Fine Arts in May 2014. The 54 total presentations in this volume focus on historiography topics of modern and contemporary Greek architecture in a systematic and comprehensive manner.

Most of the authors of the presentations, representing different generations, teach at architectural schools throughout Greece or abroad, while others are researchers at reputable research institutions outside the university.
