What makes this book different from others about Ancient Teaching?
Firstly, it deals with the teaching of Ancient Greek in its historical evolution, as in the first part it analyzes their teaching methods in the 19th century mainly. And secondly, it focuses, in the following parts, on the methods and teaching techniques proposed by modern Teaching, in the last ten years or so. Thus, in the second part, the theories of Teaching that "support" the new teaching methods of Ancient Greek Literature are presented.
However, we also dedicate an introductory chapter to the analysis of why ICT should be used in teaching with prudence and moderation, while we also present the conditions under which their use offers valuable pedagogical and learning results.
In the third part, finally, some indicative lesson plans and teaching scenarios are presented (which have significant differences between them, so as to highlight a significant number of the pedagogical possibilities of New Technologies) that have been implemented in real school classes. Some of them concern the Gymnasium and some the Lyceum, so that the book is useful for all philologists.
In summary, this edition provides the educator not only with stimuli and ideas but also with specific teaching proposals or plans that will allow them to teach Ancient Greek in the most modern, efficient, and student-friendly way.
