Description

Description

The world was born out of love and almost lost because of love. Many times. At the beginning of the world, the loves of gods and humans were so strong that they turned everything upside down. Like the love of Pluto and Persephone, which brought winter to the upper world and a bit of the scent of spring to the underworld, thus gifting the earth with its seasons. The Mythological Tales series attempts a new "reading" of ancient Greek myths. They are not old, oft-repeated stories of forgotten gods, but exciting action tales through which all the timeless human adventures, fears, and joys that have marked and still mark the human soul unfold. Includes educational activities.

Read an excerpt

There were wise horses and wild horses, horses with lightning-fast legs that traveled around one and many worlds. And horses that grew from the earth and had roots and ruled the same place forever. There were horses born from the foam of the waves, others that sprang from white stones, others found by gods or heroes at the edges of the ocean or the sky. Horses that were stories themselves, beautiful songs, fierce battles, wild killings. (One horse was the one that took the impregnable city of Troy, all by itself in one night, after ten years of struggle by an entire army of heroic men).
