The complex of the monastery of Osios Loukas in Phocis is a unique monument of Byzantine architecture and Greek cultural heritage. From a scientific perspective, it represents a vast repository of knowledge about the history of art and architecture, as well as the history of the Lower Greece region during the Middle Byzantine period. This book aims to awaken scientific interest in this globally renowned medieval monument of our country.
