The book by Nikos Kleitsikas and Dionysis Anastasopoulos presents with full documentation and all the necessary scientific and historical elements, the results of the 2006 Italian elections. It objectively depicts the current political situation in the neighboring country, focusing on the protagonists, without emotional reactions and intention to manipulate the characters. The detailed presentation of the map of political parties and electoral coalitions has a dual significance: on the one hand, it highlights the necessity of politics through political parties - which largely reflects the social reality - and on the other hand, it points out all those mechanisms of "construction of reality" that the Mass Media employ to "interpret" the political reality in their own terms but also for their own reasons.
The book illuminates in a detailed manner not only the protagonists, but also all the factors involved around them, increasing or decreasing their popularity and influencing the final electoral preferences of the Citizens. Through the detailed presentation
