ABS Filament

  • Color: Green
  • Diameter: 1.75 mm
  • Weight: 1000 g
  • Material: ABS
  • Manufacturer: REAL FILAMENTS

ABS is a thermoplastic material optimized for 3D printing, offering the best possible performance. It is recommended to use a heated bed when printing with ABS, and a heated enclosure is also beneficial. ABS is resistant to gasoline, opaque, and is a soft thermoplastic that can flex. It has a higher glass transition temperature compared to PLA, but is less environmentally friendly due to its petrochemical origin. During printing, an unpleasant chemical odor may be observed, so it is important to use in a well-ventilated area.

For printing small durable parts, using 3DLAC at temperatures between 65-80 degrees may suffice. Kapton tape requires higher temperatures around 110 degrees. The recommended temperature for extruding the filament is 245 degrees, although it can be extruded at 220 degrees, but the layer adhesion will not be as strong. For larger prints, consider using PETG filament first, as without a heated enclosure, you will not be able to print this material without warping and cracks.

The worst. Not only are they not carefully stored and kept in humidity, they have polymerized before even arriving and came in pieces. IF it is even ABS because it's the first time I've seen it break as if it were PLA. STAY AWAY

This review is about the colour: Grey

In the Ender 3v2 with 100 settings from Cura, it doesn't work at all. It constantly clogs and when it does function, it doesn't produce good prints, they are weak and detach as they are being made.
