"The Pontic dialect is irrefutable evidence of the origin of Pontic Hellenism and the racial continuity from the first settlers to the present day. The Pontic is a dialect of the Greek language that begins from the time of the colonization of the Ionians and their settlement in Pontus..."
The translation into Pontic was done by Professor G. Savvantidis of the former University of Philology of Ioannina.
Regarding the story:
The Romans' fervent desire is the capture of the Gallic village, and since the direct way is lost once and for all and at the same time: "...We must teach them a lesson and for that we must find another way to conquer that cursed Gallic village..." other means must be found for the goal, and this time "The Troublemaker" is chosen! The representative of the new weapon is Fulius Zizanius, who leaves behind only storms, turmoil, and quarrels. However, the Gallic spirit, pure as a white dove, innocent as a newborn lamb, and "...Barbarians! and united like a wild boar!" as Centurion Aerobatus says, falls into the trap of green suspicion and yellow-black discord like children fighting over a chocolate! And in the evening at the feast for their leader's birthday: "The singer comes to the table alone...You would think the end of the village had come!". The situation worsens, Zizanius spreads false news: "They will think we have the magic potion and I promise you that soon the Gauls will be divided and lost!". The dissolution is now a fact, something that leaves the leader to monologue: "I don't know, children, if we did anything crazy...". The Gauls, however, may be as naive and simple-minded as a toddler, but they learn quickly from their mistakes, and the historic "Battle of the Village" restored form to the Gauls and morale, and gave the Romans many bumps. Ah...discord you say? But it was a passing madness, because as Obelix says: "These people are crazy!"...
