High-quality organic Matcha tea with an intense green tea flavor and prolonged astringency. It has a stronger and more bitter taste compared to higher grades of Matcha tea. It is a perfect choice for green tea enthusiasts and an ideal ingredient for smoothies, ice creams, and baking.

This organic Matcha tea is harvested during the 2nd and 3rd harvest from tea plants that are specially shaded from direct sunlight, resulting in higher chlorophyll and L-Theanine content and a richer, greener color. The fresh leaves are collected, dried, and ground into powder.

It is grown in the Uji region of Kyoto Prefecture, known for cultivating very high-quality green tea for over 800 years.
