The "International Workingmen's Association of Communists" entrusted Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels to write a theoretical program of the party for publication in Brussels at the congress held in 1847. This is how the "Communist Manifesto" of the Party was born, a text of scientific socialism for the new worldview. In the same year, Engels became the secretary of the Communist Association. It is time for communists to openly present their views, in London where people from many nationalities gathered, where the Communist Manifesto of their party was born. It was then published in English, French, German, Italian, Russian, and many others. The first Russian translation was made by Bakunin in 1870. The ideological struggle of revolutionary Marxism against revisionism at the end of the 19th century is nothing but the prelude to the great revolutions of the proletariat. Communism has been recognized by all countries of Europe as a force that everyone pursues and accuses. Our theory, Marx and Engels said, is not a dogma but a guide to action. This classic formulation powerfully and beautifully emphasizes this view of the Manifesto.
