The three-volume work "Research in Preschool Education" represents the first collective effort to present the research being conducted in the field of psychology and education of young children at university departments across the country.

The first volume focuses on topics of Didactic Methodology and includes studies related to the language development of preschoolers, children's literature, aesthetic education, the teaching of historical concepts, the teaching of natural sciences, as well as studies from recent trends in education such as the introduction of new technologies in kindergartens, the European dimension in education, and the teaching of environmental concepts and issues.
