Vivecryl Primer by Vivechrom is a water-based silicone acrylic primer for masonry and exterior surfaces. It waterproofs and strengthens porous substrates such as plaster, concrete, brick, stone and old, poor-quality paint, while allowing the surface to breathe. It is suitable as a primer for silicone, elastomeric and acrylic paints, waterproofing coatings, cement paints and RELIEF.
Its water-repellent action, high breathability and resistance to alkaline substrates help limit salt migration into the topcoat and rising damp from the ground. Its slight yellow tint makes it easier to see whether the entire surface has been primed.
