Vitex Durovit clear acrylic primer stabilises and waterproofs porous surfaces before painting while allowing them to breathe. It penetrates plasterboard and masonry, as well as plaster, exposed concrete and brick, and surfaces painted with limewash or adhesive paint. It is moisture-resistant and used before applying water-based paints.
Apply one coat using a roller, brush or airless spray gun. For walls, dilute by 50–100% with T 300 Brush Thinner; for roof terraces, dilute by 30%. It is touch-dry in 1 hour and can be recoated after 4–6 hours with Vitex emulsion or acrylic paints. Do not apply at temperatures below 5 °C or above 35 °C, or at relative humidity above 80%. Clean tools and stains with T 300 Brush Thinner, followed by soap or detergent.
