The transparent Vitex Durovit primer stabilises and waterproofs surfaces before the topcoat, while allowing them to breathe. It penetrates porous surfaces such as plasterboard, masonry, plaster, exposed concrete and brick, as well as surfaces coated with limewash or glue-based paint. It is moisture-resistant and can be used before applying water-based paints.
Apply one coat with a roller, brush or airless spray gun after stirring thoroughly. For walls, dilute by 50–100% with T 300 Brush Thinner; for rooftops, dilute by 30%. Touch-dry in 1 hour and ready for recoating after 4–6 hours with Vitex emulsion or acrylic paints. Apply at temperatures between 5 °C and 35 °C and relative humidity of up to 80%. Clean tools and stains with T 300 Brush Thinner, then with soap or detergent.
