Vitex Superbond Primer is an acrylic bonding primer containing quartz sand, suitable for plasterboard, metal and masonry. It creates a rough surface to improve adhesion on smooth, low-absorbency surfaces. It is suitable for indoor use and offers high alkali resistance. Use it before skim-coating painted and very smooth surfaces, plastering exposed concrete and insulation boards, or applying polished cement screed.
Before use, stir thoroughly until the mixture is homogeneous. Apply one coat with a roller or brush, without dilution, preserving the textured finish of the surface. The product is touch-dry in 2–3 hours. Plaster or cement screed can be applied after 6–8 hours. Drying times depend on the coating thickness and weather conditions.
