This review is about the book: Book 1

    Epic.
One of the best books in its category.
It has a different approach to the science fiction genre and focuses more on the human rather than the technology, and that is what makes it even more special.
Although there have been movies that have done a good job in adaptation, reading it is truly worth it.

This review is about the book: Book 1

I am still at the beginning (150 pages in) and I can say with certainty that it is very good and has amazing pacing that doesn't tire you at all. Even if you have seen the movies (I have seen each one 5 times), there is no way you won't like it or find it interesting. From the very first pages, there are many differences compared to the movies that give much more depth and weight to the characters and new perspectives both towards them and towards the developments of the story. I highly recommend it.

This review is about the book: Book 8

Very superficial approach to Frank Herbert in my opinion, it's like moving away a bit from the world he struggled so much to create and ultimately something else is rendered. Unanswered questions and an unsatisfactory ending. If you liked Frank Herbert and his writing, you will probably be annoyed by the approach attempted in the two books (7-8). Of course, it's always a matter of taste.

This review is about the book: Book 1

Frank Herbert's "Dune" is a masterpiece of science fiction that transcends the conventions of the genre. Through its rich, complex universe, Herbert tackles themes such as politics, ecology, religion, and human nature. The characters are impressively developed, while the plot, filled with twists, keeps the interest from the first to the last page. The desert environment of the planet Arrakis is not just a backdrop but also a living, dynamic "character." What particularly impressed me is the author's ability to create such a multi-layered world that feels real and relevant. The book is not just an adventure but also a reflection on human ambition and the future of civilization. "Dune" is an experience you won't easily forget and one of the most remarkable works I have read. If you love fantasy that combines action, depth, and contemplation, don't miss it.
