The modern international system is in a state of prolonged instability and faces unprecedented challenges. Under these conditions, the development of international relations thought is a national imperative for a small but potentially multifaceted developing country like Greece. The current volume aims to respond to this imperative, coinciding with the dual commemorative symbolism of the year 2019. The "2019" marks the first century since the establishment of the first chair of International Politics. The same year also marks thirty years since the founding of the Institute of International Relations (I.DI.S.) at Panteion University.

Comprising fifty texts, the volume offers an overview of the current state of the academic field of International Relations in Greece and the world, while, in terms of contributions, it is completely representative of the scientific potential of the Greek international relations community.
