It matches what is described (easy installation, the hose does not get tangled, it retracts automatically, etc.). Very elegant and sturdy construction.

I bought the Gardena RollUp S Automatic 15m and it really impressed me. The automatic winding works perfectly, you pull a little and it retracts by itself without tangling.
I especially liked that it has frost protection — you can leave it outside in the winter (after emptying the hose) without worrying about damage. Very good build quality, stable on the wall and easy to use. Ideal for a balcony or small garden.

Expensive but you get what you pay for. Very good quality, the hose retracts perfectly. Of course, time will tell as well

I had the hose for 2 years, really very convenient. Suddenly it got stuck and the hose won't retract. I don't open it to see the problem because the spring that retracts the hose is dangerous.
I called the dealership. For the past 4 months, they've been telling me to call next month when they will bring the spare part. Now they told me to call in September, which is 6 months after I initially contacted them.
If it breaks down, keep in mind that the Greek dealership probably won't fix it for you, so it's money wasted.

The best! The hose doesn't get tangled, you don't waste time gathering it or turning it because it got crumpled somewhere, it's always neat.

Whatever you say is an understatement.. extremely useful.. it stands the test of time.. it lasted the season with daily use, but given that it is Gardena, I believe it will perform well..

Excellent operation of the mechanism, quality rubber, and satisfactory pressure. It seems to have a quite durable construction. However, it is quite expensive for something that you used to buy from Leroy for €40 ten years ago, although not in this quality. The problem with these is that over the years, the plastic cover deteriorates from UV radiation, the spring of the mechanism loosens with use, and it does not retract the rubber. Both of these characteristics appear after years, so I cannot currently evaluate the reliability of the product.

It does its job perfectly fine. The collection mechanism seems sturdy and works like the vacuum cleaner's cord - it pulls everything back with a sudden jerk. As for durability, time will tell - I've only had it for 2 months.

The base was a bit difficult to install because, due to its shape, I couldn't stabilize the level on top of it while marking the holes on the wall

So far it works fine, coming from a similar product from Hozelock (the mechanism broke after 4 years without being repaired) I am skeptical and will wait for the future to show the smooth operation of the winding and unwinding mechanism. Otherwise, good quality Gardena.
