The 10th updated edition of the work "Fundamental Institutions of Public Law" became necessary after the extensive and repeated changes, particularly during the four-year period from 2017 to 2021, that occurred in Public Law.

The work presents in a comprehensive and thorough manner the established institutions of Public Law, as clarified by the provisions of the Constitution and the Civil Service Code, which regulate the legal status of state employees. The book aims to inform the reader about the current institutional framework for public employees.

The "Fundamental Institutions of Public Law" is taught as an elective course in the 3rd year of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration and in the 4th year of the Law Department of the Faculty of Law, Economic and Political Sciences at the University of Athens. This edition presents the lectures given in the context of the course. The identification and analysis of the various institutions is done according to the provisions of the Constitution and the Civil Service Code, which regulate the legal status of state employees.
