HOYA's engineers have developed a new ANTI-STATIC coating that acts like a force field around the filter to repel dust. These filters require less frequent cleaning and maintenance than traditional filters.

The durable, anti-static top layer is water-repellent and stain-resistant, easily cleaning off smudges or fingerprints. The UV filter cuts unwanted ultraviolet rays, reducing haze and increasing clarity.

The new FUSION ANTISTATIC NEXT professional filters are made in Japan using selected silicate salts that are melted and blended to produce high-performance optical glass. HOYA applies an 18-Layer Super Multi-Coating enhanced formula (on both sides) that reduces or eliminates reflections on the glass surface, achieving an extremely clear high transmission rate.

This means that the filter has minimal impact on color balance, contrast, or clarity of the final image. The filters feature a lightweight, low-profile, one-piece aluminum frame that holds the glass, allowing perfect parallel alignment with the sensor plane for maximum sharpness.
