Matt acrylic paints, water-soluble and specially formulated for airbrush. The Model Air color range includes the most comprehensive selection of military colors used in recent history, including colors from World War I and World War II to the present day. Each color is based on extensive research by our experts regarding existing and past military references, in order to provide the modeler with maximum historical accuracy.
The use of Model Air can be done straight from the bottle or thinned with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to first prepare the surface and then apply Model Air in several layers. The paints dry very quickly and form a homogeneous color film with excellent durability, preserving even the slightest detail of the model. For the airbrush, the recommended compressor air pressure is 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. Naturally, Model Air can also be applied with a brush.
For proper airbrush maintenance, the use of Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner is recommended.
Safety: Model Air is not flammable and does not contain solvents. Please also refer to the certified safety information of the product on the Safety page.
Packaging: Model Air is available in 17 ml./0.57 fl.oz. bottles with a dropper. This packaging prevents evaporation and drying of the paint in the container, allowing it to be used in minimal quantities and stored for a long time.
