Matte acrylic paints, water-based and specially designed for airbrush. The Model Air color range includes the most comprehensive selection of military colors used in recent history, including colors from World War I and II to the present day.
Each color is based on extensive research by our experts on existing and previous military references in order to provide modelers with maximum historical accuracy. Model Air can be used straight from the bottle or thinned with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to first prepare the surface and then apply Model Air in several layers.
The paints dry very quickly and form a homogeneous paint surface of exceptional durability, retaining even the smallest details of the model. For airbrush application, the air pressure of the compressor is recommended to be 15-20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. Model Air can also be applied with a brush.
For proper maintenance of the airbrush, the use of Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner is recommended. Safety: Model Air is non-flammable and contains no solvents.
Packaging: Model Air is supplied in 17 ml./0.57 fl.oz. bottles with a dropper. This packaging prevents evaporation and drying of the paint in the container, allowing it to be used in small amounts and preserved for a long time.
