Matte acrylic paints, water-soluble and specially formulated for airbrushes. The Model Air color range includes the most comprehensive selection of military colors used in recent history, including colors from World War I, World War II, and up to the present day. Each color is based on extensive research by experts regarding existing and previous military references to provide modelers with maximum historical accuracy.
Model Air can be used directly or diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to first prime the surface and then apply Model Air in several layers. The paints dry very quickly and form a homogeneous paint film of exceptional durability, retaining even the smallest details of the model.
For the use of these paints with an airbrush, the recommended air pressure is 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. Model Air can, of course, also be applied with a brush. For proper maintenance of the airbrush, it is recommended to use Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner.
Safety: Model Air is not flammable and does not contain solvents. Please also refer to the certified safety information of the product on the Safety page.
Packaging: Model Air is presented in 17 ml./0.57 fl.oz. bottles with a dropper. This packaging prevents evaporation and drying of the paint in the container, allowing it to be used in minimal amounts and preserved for a long time.
