The myth helps me endure, allowing me to approach dark, dystopian issues that push humans to their limits, that evoke darkness and savagery, issues that have occupied humans throughout history, almost obsessively, and therefore relevant today.
Primarily family and its imprisonment within its drama, ancestral inheritances, anger and desire for revenge, greed that ironically prevails over love, descendants carrying heavy names, the effort and anxiety of whether they can break the chain or if each person repeats the story of all those before them again and again.
Perhaps unable to speak directly about all these, I hide behind the myth that encompasses them all.
