Fragrant variety of bulbs. Maximum height 25cm. The bulb is sold per piece.
This bulbous plant blooms with colorful and fragrant flowers, on elongated stems with a height of 20-40 cm. It blooms from late winter to early spring, with double pink flowers that form unique unilateral inflorescences, perpendicular to the main stem of the plant.
It requires well-drained soils and regular watering, but does not favor soils with a lot of organic matter. If planted in such soils, it creates many leaves and few flowers.
The ideal substrate for planting Freesia in plant containers is a mixture of garden soil, leaf mold, and well-rotted manure in equal proportions.
After flowering and when the leaves wither, you can uproot the bulbs and store them in a dry and dark place until autumn, when you will replant them.
It beautifully decorates flower beds within the lawn as well as all kinds of pots, as long as they receive at least 4 hours of direct sunlight per day.
In vases, Freesias have excellent behavior, last long, and emit their wonderful fragrance.
It is a plant sensitive to very low temperatures and unsuitable for areas where the temperature drops below 0°C.
