Spirit free from constraints and the emasculating tendency of "doctrine," it replaced with a broader tradition. The Greek language itself, as a repository of speech, installs in its consciousness a new treaty of analysis and thought (the Synamphoterum) and imposes on its thought pre-existing semantic shades printed on Greek speech, giving it the ability to contribute enrichingly to the common property, by virtue of precisely this Common (Synou) Speech. The concept of Synamphoterum, which permeates subtly or subcutaneously throughout the work of Kostas Zouraris, is also the interpretive key to almost all of the essays in the volume.
