Comparative Politics is the branch of Political Science that utilizes its tools to assess the primary conclusions resulting from the research of political phenomena.
It proposes secondary interpretative syntheses that go beyond individual cases. These concern either thematic categories of political phenomena, or state-level issues, or even broader supranational unions.
Thus, similarities and differences, correlations and divergences are revealed or become apparent, with attempts made to seek the reasons that provoke them.
