Sika Sikaflex 291i polyurethane sealant is a one-component product developed for marine applications. It cures with atmospheric moisture, forming a durable elastomer, and is suitable for elastic joints exposed to vibration, as well as for interior and exterior sealing. It adheres to wood, metals, metal primers, two-component coatings, ceramics and GRP plastics.
The material is elastic, low-odour, non-corrosive and paintable. It does not release VOCs or gaseous pollutants. It is not suitable for plastics prone to environmental stress cracking, such as Plexiglas and polycarbonate.
