The "Master of Suspense" is here! On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Alfred Hitchcock's death, OXY Publications, in collaboration with the Panhellenic Association of Film Critics, pays tribute to one of the most influential figures in the history of cinema.

The homonymous book that has just been released is a retrospective edition of his films, a look back at his rich body of work, as well as an in-depth study of his influence. A publication for everyone who has –even just once– watched, breathless, one of his films and the masterful realism they embody.

"Good evening. I am Alfred Hitchcock." With this greeting, emphasizing the two "k's" in Hitchcock with a London accent, the director presented his program on television or even his films in inventive trailers. And while the director, a figure usually unrepresented, always positioned behind the camera, was unknown to the viewers of his films, Alfred Hitchcock was an exception; an exception that created a legend, both with his persona and with his dozens of remarkable films, but also with a unique expressive style, suspense.
