The texts that make up this small book are the reactions of their authors to the viewing of the exhibition "Giorgos Chatzimichalis. Works from 1996 to 2019". The major retrospective exhibition of the painter, due to the pandemic, took place from September 2023 to January 2024 at the Benaki Museum on Piraeus Street, in all of the Museum's exhibition spaces, instead of in 2020.

Due to the postponement, two additional works were included. In fact, two exhibitions were held, the first until Sunday, November 5, and the second from Thursday, November 23 to Sunday, January 14.

The publication of the essays was released on the occasion of Giorgos Chatzimichalis' solo exhibition titled "5 Works", which was presented at the Eleftheria Tseliou Gallery from May 6 to June 7, 2025. This was the first solo presentation of Giorgos Chatzimichalis after the major retrospective exhibition at the Benaki Museum. This time, Giorgos Chatzimichalis presented five works in the gallery space that were exhibited to the public for the first time.
