In the proceedings of the scientific symposium 'Foreign immigrants in Greece. Plague or progress?', issued by the Society of Studies, the serious and timeless issue of immigration is developed, towards and from Greece. For our society, the influx of immigrants is an unprecedented fact; while our country used to send its members to immigrate to other countries, now it is called upon to manage foreign immigrants within its borders. The volume examines various aspects of the issue, not only from the perspective of Greek society but also from that of immigrants.
