The Countries of Theory include seventeen original texts that, each from a different perspective, answer the question “which Theory, today?” This volume, instead of reminiscing and archiving the old achievements of Theory, attempts to capture its pulse in the Greek-speaking world and the present time.

The selection of texts combines the following: first, the study of literature as a touchstone and a constant goal of theoretical reflection; second, the concept of movement and displacement as both a characteristic and a subject of this reflection; third, the interconnections between its political and historical dimensions; fourth, its interdisciplinarity and contact with academic or non-academic practices; fifth, the persistent metatheory as a fundamental component of it.
