The anthology of this edition includes critical texts, mainly excerpts from book reviews, as well as articles of general interest, from the first appearance of Skaribas to the present day.

The criteria for selection are not person-centered. The aim was to represent the polyphony that characterizes the treatment of the author's work and to include texts that address or theoretically pose problems in relation to his work.

Furthermore, an effort was made to maintain, as much as possible, a balance regarding the geographical representation of the criticism, and to select texts covering the entirety of the author's literary work, even if at times this meant overlooking the not satisfactory quality of the critical discourse.

Emphasis was placed on older or less accessible texts, while monographs or texts addressing specific topics, as well as reviews of the most recent literary editions from the publishing house "Nefeli," were excluded. Additionally, it was deemed appropriate to compile a concise chronology and table of the critiques included in this edition.
