The studies in this volume cover aspects of the multifaceted scientific activity and personality of Giota Kravaritou: Law, Labor, Gender, and Psychology. The scientific fields that she loved and cultivated scientifically with her personal work and research. Labor Law was her first choice. Later, when she was in Nancy and Brussels, she combined it with European Law, to end up with Comparative and European Social Law, which she never abandoned, even when she was in Florence, the first female professor, dealing with teaching and research on Gender studies.
Those who knew her, collaborated with her, apprenticed with her, shared her ideas, and recognized her struggles for the rights of workers and women in Greece and Europe, were called to contribute to this Tribute and responded eagerly to the invitation.
