Middle Ages. The Inquisition is at its peak and the inquisitors have the power of life and death over the people. One such inquisitor is Arkas' Inquisitor. Harsh and unyielding, a relentless persecutor of heresy, blasphemy, and witchcraft. His trusted assistant is Berdougos, serving as a servant, secretary, and executioner. And then disaster strikes: the Inquisitor falls in love with the young witch he is interrogating. The merciless persecutor of sin falls under the spell of a damned sinner, and instead of sending her to the pyre of punishment, he himself falls into the pyre of passionate love.
The rest is laughter. Arkas' dark humor manages to illuminate with hilarity a dark era of humanity, and the gloom of the Inquisition provides material for clever, hilarious dialogues.
Arkas is a Greek artist involved in the art of Comics. He started in the early 1980s by publishing the series "The Rooster" in the magazine Babel and later in PARA PENTE and MIKRO PARA PENTE.

Someone is making a huge effort to keep the ratings of this series at high levels... repeated, identical reviews from different people (or the same ones?), about the paper quality, the quality of the humor, etc. etc.
Should I be concerned about what I am about to read??? (I have bought and am waiting for the books)
Edit 6/9/25: I have read all the books in the series. Disappointing writing, jokes below average, pointless rambling, as if they were written by someone else and not by Arkas. No relation to his old series. And I have read them all. I would not recommend buying this particular series.

Πρέπει να με προβηματίσει για το τι πρόκειται να διαβάσω;;; (έχω αγοράσει και περιμένω τα βιβλία)
Edit 6/9/25: Έχω διαβάσει όλα τα βιβλία της σειράς. Απογοητευτική γραφή, αστεία κάτω του μετρίου, ανούσια φλυαρία, σαν να και έχουν γραφτεί από κάποιον άλλον και όχι από τον Αρκά. Καμία σχέση με παλιές σειρές του. Και τις έχω διαβάσει όλες. Δεν θα σύστηνα την αγορά της συγκεκριμένης σειράς.
