Description

On Saturday, June 10, 1944, the Hitlerian occupying forces, practically applying the principles of their superhuman civilization and the values of the Aryan race, wrote another blood-soaked page in the history of humanity. Distomo in Boeotia experienced indescribable slaughter and devastation.

The German invaders left their terrible mark all over Greece and Europe, but in Distomo, we witness a peak moment of their atrocities. Here, the Germans engaged in rapes and necrophilia, killed, executed, burned, ripped open the bellies of pregnant women with bayonets, and removed the impaled fetuses. They wrapped the intestines of disemboweled children around their necks, flayed the legs of infants, pulverized newborns under their sadistic boots, cut off heads and genitals, extracted eyes, amputated breasts, and even killed the village's animals.

From the height of the martyrdom of Distomo, we saw the specter of the beast in the faces of the Nazis.
