Therefore, the purpose of this volume is to provide the reader with material for study, which will be useful both in educational practice and in informing and raising awareness of the broader society regarding the difficulties and problems faced by individuals with disabilities.

The specific recordings included in this volume aim to suggest ways, raise awareness in society, and document practices during a period when the social state is shrinking, the educational process is set in different frameworks, and the global community is shaken by socio-economic issues.

Before presenting the texts related to special education and to emphasize the teacher's profession as an important factor in the inclusive policy for People with Disabilities, we present the results of a survey concerning the reasons that lead primary school teachers to choose their profession, as well as the close bidirectional relationship between motivations and the choice of the teaching profession.
